Lisa is a Liverpool based artist who for many years, painted traditional wildlife/animal art for which she won awards and exhibited nationally.   She also painted pet portraits and has done so for the likes of Dame Laura Kenny (Cyclist) and Katarina Johnson Thompson (Heptathlete).

During lockdown all the usual wildlife exhibitions stopped  which gave Lisa the opportunity to experiment and explore different subjects and media.  She found myself drawn back to painting popular icons from her childhood and animals with a fun twist and she hasn't looked back since!

 

Lisa often incorporates fashion/luxury brands and street art into her paintings which merge with the characters to create a fun and engaging narrative.  She enjoys working in many different media to help keep the painting process fresh so her originals blend graphic elements with spray paints, acrylics, oils, inks and stencils (sometimes embellished with glitter, gems and diamond dust).
